Ordering

Customers must check the suitability of goods for their proposed use before ordering. Contact Teepee Products Ltd to check suitability whenever unsure. All information and advice we give is in good faith without prejudice. The customer should satisfy themselves on the exact suitability of the products for their application. It is vital that accurate and full application details are given to us so we can advise you on best product selection.

Installation

Fixings must be installed as recommended by Teepee Products Ltd. Note: Use of impact drivers is not recommended and invalidates all warranties.

Deliveries

Teepee Products ltd will not except liability for any losses or costs due to failure to deliver, directly or indirectly or for any delay whatever the circumstances.

It is expected that there will be someone at delivery address to accept goods and goods must be accepted. Delivery address must have suitable access without restriction and manual labour/forklift available for larger orders.

On delivery risk reverts to the purchaser.

Goods must be checked immediately on delivery. Any claims for non-delivery or shortages must be made to us and to the courier within 5 days of delivery date

Returns

Unless specifically agreed in writing returns will not be accepted unless goods are faulty. Over-ordered quantities will not be accepted back and wrongly selected products will not be accepted unless recommended for the particular application by Teepee Products Ltd

Credit

Where credit is given it is strictly 30 days from end of month.

All goods remain the property of Teepee Products Ltd until paid for in full.

Loss

Teepee Products Ltd will not be liable for any loss including loss of profit, damages, charges or any other expenses caused. Any loss due to faulty goods etc is limited to the cost or replacement of the products only.

General

All sales are subject to Teepee Products Ltd terms and conditions only under English law.

Goods to be used for legal purposes only.

Figures throughout the website are ultimate failure loads for guidance purposes only. A site Engineer should be consulted on critical applications.

WARRANTY

NYLON BI-HEX COLOUR HEAD FASTENERS FOR ROOFING AND CLADDING APPLICATIONS 

As from July 2019 Teepee Products Ltd Guarantee their Colour Head Carbon Steel fasteners for 25 years and 50 years for their Stainless Steel Colour Head fasteners for Roofing and Cladding applications, subject to their full terms and conditions.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. This Warranty is for the primary function of the fastener in Roofing and Cladding applications only, which is the fastening and sealing of sheets and panels. For single use applications only. Where rooflights are changed new fasteners must be used. This Warranty does not cover non moulded head fasteners or for any fading or failure of the moulded head itself.

2. The Warranty is void where there has been any alterations, modifications or repair and maintenance carried out or where accidents have occurred. Misuse of the building invalidates Warranty.

3. Building must be well maintained and records available on request. Fasteners must not be allowed to become waterlogged or come into contact with salt water or other aggressive substances for any length of time.

4. All other components in the construction must be of a “good quality”. Butyl strip mastics must be grade A, quality low modulus neutral cure silicone used and only B1 grade Fireform used where necessary. Sheets and panels must have a Warranty equal to or greater than this Warranty.

5. The Building must be of a proven design and application recognised and approved by Teepee Products Ltd. Incorrect choice of fastener will invalidate Warranty

6.Installation must be carried out by experienced operatives using correct tools as recommended by Teepee Products Ltd. Poor workmanship will invalidate Warranty. Use of impact drivers will automatically invalidate Warranty.

7. Storage or production of any aggressive chemicals, high levels of condensation or any other form of internal or external aggressive atmospheric conditions, will invalidate this Warranty. Buildings in extremely aggressive locations such as coastal regions please consult Teepee Products Ltd. Warranty does not cover buildings with Swimming Pools including Ozone free pools.

8. Proof of purchase including original invoices and despatch notes must be provided together with full details of installation and dates, with a written statement that all our terms and conditions apply and have been met. Samples of failed fasteners must be returned to Teepee Products Ltd for inspection at the buyer’s expense.

9. Teepee Products Ltd’s liability for breach of this Warranty will be limited exclusively to the replacement of the failed fasteners or to refund to the buyer the original cost of the failed fasteners at the discretion and choice of Teepee Products Ltd. This Warranty is not transferable and is valid to the original buyer only.

10. Teepee products Ltd will make the exclusive determination as to whether failure within the terms of this Warranty has occurred and reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.
